  SPLISH SPLASH
LOOK OUT! OL’ BOBBY’S BACK

(A Musical Tribute to BOBBY DARIN)

Starring RON LAN’GEL

Inspired and motivated by his love for the artist who gave us “Mack the Knife,” “Splish Splash,” “Dream Lover,” “Beyond the Sea,” “Artificial Flowers,” and “Queen of the Hop,” to name a few, RON LAN’GEL pays homage with a truly memorable tribute to a great singer who passed away in his prime – BOBBY DARIN.

Personable and talented, Lan’Gel has, for over twenty years, brought to the live stage an energy that captivates the hearts of all ages. Lan’Gel demonstrates his versatility with a spectacular performance and a genius for impressions that captures a remarkable sound-alike and look-alike to the late Bobby Darin.
Lan’Gel is backed by two female singers and six dancers, and Frankie Mann lends the comedy support in the show as GEORGE BURNS, welcoming Bobby’s return to earth for just one last performance.
SPLISH SPLASH brings back many a memory of the classic artist through VIDEO CLIPS interspersed with Lan’Gel’s driving performance. Audiences will relive the glory days of Bobby’s rock and roll era on
AMERICAN BANDSTAND.

His rave appearances at New York’s famous COPACABANA, where he became the number one performer in the history of the COPA; and his heyday when he takes over the gleaming lights of LAS VEGAS where he became the highest paid entertainer of his time.

Bobby’s first love, MISS CONNIE FRANCIS, will join Ron in a duet, “Until It’s Time For You To Go,” ON VIDEO.

Following the release of KEVIN SPACEY’S film, “Beyond The Sea,” timing couldn’t be better for this remarkable presentation. As Spacey has recently stated and what Ron has been stating for over twenty years, the music and legend of Bobby Darin must be kept alive for all generations to enjoy.

YESTERDAY ONCE MORE

Life & Love in the Sensational 70’s

“Now they’re back again, just like a long lost friend, all the songs I loved so well.” So go the lyrics of The Carpenters’ classic, Yesterday Once More. How true! Nothing rekindles youth or revives the spirit like a great old song.

The Seventies ushered in a feel-good era just when we needed it the most. And now Music-Art Productions brings to the stage an exciting new show featuring the greatest musical moments from a decade brimming with muscular pulse, down home grit, and old-fashioned romanticism.
