NEWSFLASH!!
Ed Clark has cancelled
!
|
-from
Ed Clark:
"I was
advised Wednesday, July 23rd, that the air-conditioning at
Salisbury High School will NOT be working for the Sunday,
July 27th concert. Some problem with the HVAC
contractor working on the system. Unfortunately, RCCA
was given no advance warning and this news came much too
late.
This
was surprising news for Jo & Floyd Walcher, the mainstays of
Rowan County Concert Association, RCCA, who work so
incredibly hard to bring a musically-creative spirit to
Rowan County, and have done so for many, many years!
There
was talk of a "heat date" (ala "rain date") of August 17th,
for which I offered to perform.
For
whatever reason, RCCA has decided to go ahead with the
concert, WITHOUT air-conditioning.
For professional reasons, I can not perform under those
conditions. I hope that you understand.
I am
eager to perform in my hometown, and am willing to return at
another date.
Sincerely,

Ed J. Clark
